Architect Rudi Ricotti, famous for his stunning design of a number of French museums, has been commissioned to create the 2 new museums on the Quai Antoine 1er in Monaco.

Not shy in creating stand-out designs, this new complex will take the shape of a huge manta ray and will house a collection of underwater archaeology finds made by Franck Goddio.

52 luxury apartments will also be built as part of the project.

The work is expected to start in 2016 and will cost around 300 million euros.
