The very first fourth of July celebrations in the USA took place in 1776 after the signing of the Declaration of Independence. In 1941 it was declared a federal holiday and since then American citizens across the globe have been celebrating this special day.

Not one to miss a party, we have our own Independence Day celebrations in Monaco, with Stars'n'Bars and Amber Summer bringing the holiday atmosphere. Star'n'Bars’ annual Independence Day street party in the port kicks off at 18:00, and they are prepared to part all night long! With free entrance, the event is open to the public (who are invited to come in an American-themed costume). Celebrations include a giant barbecue (vegan and gluten intolerant-friendly), mechanical bull riding, cotton candy, live music and family fun with bouncy castles and a kids playground.

Amber Summer, the newly-launched branch of F1’s Amber Lounge, will be celebrating the 4th of July from 17:00 at the Meridien Beach Plaza Hotel with drummers, saxophonists, DJs and dancers.

Nikki Beach Monte Carlo at the Fairmont Hotel, will host their own 4th of July celebrations in true Nikki beach style. Enjoy the stars, the stripes and a very special American BBQ.

So get your best American style outfit out of the wardrobe and join in the festivities this evening.
