The 'King Kong' of boxing, Luis Ortiz, will make his way Monaco for his European debut with a fight for the WBA Intercontinental Heavyweight title on 12th November 2016.

Cuban boxer Ortiz, who has won 22 of his 25 fights by knockout, will be taking on the experienced American Malik Scott in a bid to take home the WBA Intercontinental belt. This will be the last fight of the night on what promises to be an exceptional night of sport in Monte-Carlo.

The Monte-Carlo Boxing Bonanza will be hosted in the prestigious Salle des Etoiles in Sporting Monte-Carlo and will feature two World title fights; WBA Super Featherweight and WBA Bantamweight, as well as the WBO International Super Middleweight title and the headline fight between Ortiz and Scott.

UK's Stephen Smith will challenge current WBA Super Featherweight champion Jason Sosa from the USA, in the first fight of the night. The WBA Bantamweight World title will then see another UK boxer, Jamie McDonnell, stepping into the ring to defend his title for the fifth time, against Venezuelan Liborio Solis.

The WBO International Super Middleweight title will be a battle between Arthur Abraham (Germany/Armenia) and Martin Murray from the UK. Their first fight since a controversial split decision that went Abraham's way last November.

"It is an absolute honour to bring this huge night of world championship boxing to Monaco," said promoter Eddie Hearn.

"It's been a wonderful few years for British boxing but to showcase this great sport in such a high quality environment is very exciting. This is going to be the most high profile fight night of the year and we are looking forward to putting on an exceptional night of boxing for Monte Carlo, fans and all of our international broadcasters."

Monte-Carlo Boxing Bonanza will be broadcast all over the world and live on Sky Sports
